We were asked to design and deliver a programme to assess and develop the political engagement capability for all Vodafone Country CEOs globally and for the senior team at Vodafone Group HQ. Two years later the programme was extended to include a workshop programme
Vodafone recognised that all the knowledge and expertise for political engagement could not rest with the Head of Corporate Affairs. The aim was to assess current capability and provide coaching to develop new behavioural skills. The investment would build leadership confidence and performance and ultimately strengthen the commercial strength of Vodafone.
The programme was ranked as the best leadership experience most attendees had experience, many reporting sucess in days of attending. In the light of our research on political intelligence the programme has been recently refreshed for the next generation of leaders.
