Leadership Development Programmes
The purpose of Leadership Development Programmes is to develop leaders who can deliver success for the organisation, clients, customers and society.
My experience is that in most organisations this clarity is missing and that programmes are a “corporate sheep dip”, Good design is critical for ensuring a return on investment. And for contributing to the development and retention of talented individuals.
Programmes need to be closely aligned to the organisations vision and values and have active sponsorship from the top. They also need to ensure a balance between challenge and reflection. Reflective learning is sadly missing from the skill set of many Leaders.
