Its back to school and college and the start of a new academic year.
I guess the ritual of new terms is locked into our psyche and for many of us, it is September and not January first that signals a new beginning. A time for a rethink and a reboot of our own or our organisations future.
We have been busy over the summer designing new programmes for a range of organisations and individual leaders that want to explore:-
How can the Senior Leadership Team work more effectively together to improve their own and the whole organisations performance?
How can leaders from across the sectors come together to better understand the challenges unique and common to all organisations. And how can they collaborate in ways that generate success for everyone and society?
How can I articulate my leadership capability, without sounding arrogant? I know that being invisible and assuming it is obvious to others means my organisation loses out eg investment, opportunities and I lose out in terms of promotion.
After the holidays it is natural to come back to work, having had time to think and consider work and life through a new perspective. Being restless or confused can signal the start of a creative phase. A time to change our own and our organisations behaviour.
If you are in this phase we would love to hear from you and discuss ways in which you can achieve the shifts you want.
Sharpen your pencils, buy some new books and plan the future.
Happy new term!
